This is a very fine vintage Irish made linen hankie or handkerchief hand made in Ireland of fine Irish linen made in 1920-1930s with 1.5 inches of hand made lace trim.
The handkerchief was bought plain and embellished with the Irish needle lace at home.
The handkerchief measures 13 inches square, with the 1.5 inch thread lace trim, French hemstitch seams and a border decoration of faggotting.
The hankie is in very good used vintage condition with no holes, stains or damage.
A lovely vintage accessory.
